Service to country

Dixon joined the Marine Corps and led young men and women in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan to defend the country after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. It is on the battlefield where he saw first-hand the challenges faced by those on the frontlines fighting for our democracy, and the leadership and teamwork required for America’s success. His commitment to service then led him to the Pentagon, where he spearheaded initiatives integrating disruptive technologies into the military. His expertise in combating corruption led to his recruitment to Hillary Clinton’s State Department during the Obama Administration, where he worked with non-profits and the Federales to work against cartel violence in Mexico.

Service to community

As a born and bred resident of the Bay Area, the welfare of the local community is personal to Dixon. He seeks to serve his country once again by fighting for working families and delivering solutions and resources for the biggest challenges facing residents—from healthcare, reproductive rights, and education to housing and immigration.

A Silicon Valley entrepreneur, Dixon is the co-founder and former CEO of Second Front Systems, a cybersecurity company that brings game-changing commercial tech to the U.S. government and helps usher it into the 21st century, equipping the American people with best, most cutting-edge tools. As a business owner, Dixon understands what it’s like to worry about making payroll, and ensuring your business succeeds for the employees counting on you. He will be Silicon Valley’s ambassador to America, bringing our critical innovation to the world.

Dixon is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He lives in Portola Valley with his wife and is a proud father of three girls.
